Castries, December 10, 2021 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is pleased to announce the following appointments as part of the company’s ongoing succession planning programme - Mr. Gary Eugene to the position of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Manager, Ms. Maxine Leon to the position of System Control Engineer (SCE) and Mr. Ormond Reece to the position of Planning Manager. 

Castries, October 19, 2021 – The ability to test quickly for COVID-19 is a critical part of the national response to the virus. This is especially so for health officials managing cases in this fourth wave. And that’s where the Ezra Long Laboratory at the Owen King EU Hospital comes in. It is tasked with a 24-hour turnaround of test results. Laboratory Director Dr Wayne Felicien says it is a commitment the lab has been able to meet with the assistance of the St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC). 

Castries, September 29, 2021 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) has donated nearly $76,000 to the St Jude Hospital in support of the hospital’s efforts to power its Oxygen Generating Plant. LUCELEC is covering the cost of the electricity infrastructure to extend the power supply to the plant.
