The goal of the new programme is to promote healthy eating through the planting of local fruit trees that will provide students with nutritious alternatives to processed and sugary snacks.

This advisory is issued in response to the increased unauthorized access to LUCELEC poles to install these items and how dangerously close to our energized lines that they are being placed. This has major safety implications for the individuals in question and the public.

Castries, September 29, 2025 – In a spirited display of community engagement and teamwork, volunteers from St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) dedicated a Saturday morning to revitalize the exterior of the Vieux-Fort Infant School, just in time for the start of the new academic year.
