LUCELEC To Undertake Maintenance Works In Soufriere

Castries, October 10, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) wishes to advise the motoring public and residents of Soufriere of maintenance works at Soufriere near Courts Saint Lucia, Bank of Saint Lucia and Big Yard restaurant, on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. These works will allow LUCELEC to undertake pole and line maintenance.

There will be no interruption of electrical service during the maintenance. The sidewalks, however, in these affected areas will be blocked and intermittent traffic disruptions are expected.

Castries, August 29, 2025 – The St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is proud to mark the 40th anniversary of its Scholarship Programme, a cornerstone of its Employee Benefits scheme. This milestone year, at its 17th annual Scholarship Social – an event in celebration of these scholars – a class of 39 scholarship recipients, including eleven incoming students whose CPEA scores ranged impressively from 84.6 to 93.4% were recognized.

LUCELEC And Energyze Light Up Emancipation Murals With Solar Technology

Castries, August 27, 2025 – Residents and visitors still have time to experience the vibrant glow of the Emancipation Murals on Jn Baptiste Street in Castries, now illuminated nightly as part of the Cultural Development Foundation’s (CDF) observance of Emancipation Month.

The lighting of the murals was made possible through a collaborative effort between St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) and energy services company Energyze Holdings Inc (EHI). The project also included the relocation of an electrical pole to facilitate the installation.
