Castries, May 14, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) customers are advised that from Monday, May 19 until Friday, May 26, the company will undertake a meter replacement drive throughout the island. The campaign is part of LUCELEC’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, reliable, and efficient service.

The exercise will result in an upgrade to the Company’s metering infrastructure and ensure that our services continue to meet the highest industry quality and safety standards.

Castries, March 21, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) wishes to advise the motoring public and residents of Carellie of excavation works at Carellie (near the gym area), from Monday, March 24, and continuing until Friday, March 28, 2025.

The works, which may result in intermittent traffic disruptions, are necessary to allow LUCELEC to undertake line maintenance in the area.

Castries, June 12, 2024 – Technical teams from the St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) responded to reports of a member of the public sustaining an electrical shock, on Tuesday June 11, 2024, in Piaye, Choiseul.  Based on preliminary reports, the individual was fatally injured on a construction site while handling a metal object that came into contact with high-voltage power lines.
